Sketches/Pre-search from Designer Notebook
The top view is a rough drawing of my design when I started. I collected the thickness of the coins so that I would know how tall my coin holder had to be. I also collected the diameter so that I knew what the diameter of each column had to be to hold my coins without them falling out.

Coin Holder Holding Coins
This was the second of three rotations that I did in IDEA. During this rotation I learned how to use inventor to make more complex objects. I had used it before but this rotation taught me how to make multiple extrusions on an object. While I was doing my pre-search I found out that I had to multiple my holes for my coins by 0.03 or add 3$ to the holes so they were big enough to hold my coins. However the main thing I learned during this rotation is that the bigger and more complex and object is the longer it takes the 3D printer to print it.
